      Dorothy E. Rohrer
            Mrs. Rohrer, 90, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 21, 2010, at home. She was a member of the Tinton Falls Women’s Club, and Republican Club. Mrs. Rohrer was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; a son, George; and two sisters, Olga Brofsky and Mary Klein.

      Barbara Edwards
            Mrs. Edwards, 71, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 24, 2010. She had lived in Fair Haven for 41 years before moving to Tinton Falls five years ago. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tower Hill, where she volunteered for the Children’s Ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1993.

      George G. Whitmore
            Mr. Whitmore, 73, of Wall and formerly of Little Silver, died Jan. 9, 2010. He had worked for law firms in Red Bank and Shrewsbury before starting his own practice, George G. Whitmore, P.A., in Red Bank in 1983. Mr. Whitmore was most recently with the firm of Ansell, Zaro, Grimm and Aaron in Ocean Township. He was also the founder of the Elder Settlement Program of Monmouth County.

      Theodore W. Lauer
            Mr. Lauer, 79, of the Belford section of Middletown, died Jan. 21, 2010, at home. He was a selfemployed professional land surveyor for 30 years, retiring in 1998. Mr. Lauer excelled at sports in college and high school, and was named to both the Potomac State College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009, and Middletown (Leonardo) High School Lion Hall of Fame in 1990.

      Toby Shapiro Newmark
            Mrs. Newmark, 71, of Oceanport, died Jan. 23, 2010. Born in Lakewood, she resided in Long Branch, prior to relocating to Oceanport in 1962. She was a 36-year member of the Monmouth County Board of Elections. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Newmark; a son and daughter-inlaw, Mitchell and Marnie Newmark of Metuchen; a daughter, Dr.

      Elsie E. Robinson
            Mrs. Robinson, 86, of Oceanport, died Feb. 4, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born in Little Silver and spent the remainder of her life in Oceanport. Mrs. Robinson retired from ShopRite in West Long Branch in 1998 after working there for 38 years. She was a member of the Freehold chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Thomas Robinson, and a son, Gary G.
