Alliance to hold all-night Halloween party Oct. 27
The Red Bank Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse will sponsor a Halloween party Oct. 27, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The party will be at the Community Center of St. Anthony’s of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Bridge Avenue and Herbert Street, Red Bank.
The free party is open to Red Bank sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, and registration is limited to the first 100 children. After being dropped off, the children will be "locked in," and released only to the person designated to pick them up.

Volunteer Center seeks individuals for positions
The Volunteer Center of Monmouth County, Long Branch, needs volunteers for a Red Bank-based teen center. Individuals will monitor "sign-in sign-out" sheets and discipline. Days and hours are: Mondays, 2:30-6:30 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:30-9 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 9 p.m. Minimum age is 18, and training is provided.
A county nursing association needs individuals to input immunization information and maintain records for a children’s immunization registry. Assignments are in Keyport, Asbury Park and Red Bank, and minimum age is 18. Training is provided.

Red Bank Elks to host Harvest Moon Hoedown
Red Bank Elks Lodge No. 233 will host a Harvest Moon Hoedown Nov. 4 from 4 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, and the event will be held at the lodge at 40 W. Front St., Red Bank.
Cost will include dinner and dancing to music from DJ Jimi Mac.
The Elks will participate in Veterans Day Services sponsored by the borough of Red Bank Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. Services will be at the Veterans Monument, 51 Monmouth St., Red Bank.
A complimentary lunch will be served at the lodge after the ceremony.
