bulletin board Fund-raiser for Kristen Hodgkiss set for Nov. 2 The Kristen Hodgkiss Assistance Fund will sponsor "An Evening Out" Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The fund-raiser will be at McLoone’s Riverside Restaurant, Sea Bright, and tickets are $35 per person. Hodgkiss is a fourth-grader at Knollwood School, Fair Haven, who is suffering from lymphoblastic leukemia. Mental Health Assoc. plans wine-tasting event The Mental Health Association Foun-dation, Eatontown, will present "A Vintners’ Showcase" Nov. 4, 6-8:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Shrewsbury Yacht Club, River Road, Fair Haven. Tickets are $75 per person. A "Connoisseurs’ Circle" will be held at 5 p.m., with tickets priced at $150 per person. The evening of wine tasting will include a 1999 Benziger fume blanc, a 1995 Chateau Ste. Michelle merlot, various other wines and hors d’oeuvres. Holiday bazaar slated for Monmouth Day Care The Monmouth Day Care Center will hold a Holiday Bazaar Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be at the center at 9 W. Bergen Place, Red Bank. Vendors will display such items as custom-made furniture, jewelry, antiques and other items. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund of Monmouth Day Care Center. Monmouth Day Care Center is a nonprofit organization, providing child care to families with varying socio-economic backgrounds. Call (732) 741-4313. Cel-ebration art gallery sets Halloween exhibit Cel-ebration! Animation Art Gallery will hold a "Halloween Nightmare" Oct. 28, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is at 30 Monmouth St., Red Bank. Appearing between 2-4 p.m. will be Kent Melton, sculptor and artist for such studios as Warner Brothers and Disney.
