‘Art from My Heart’ to open at gallery June 29

The Guild of Creative Art, 620 Broad St., Shrewsbury, will present works by Long Branch resident Clara Gee Stamaty June 29-July 24. An opening reception will be June 30 from 3-5 p.m.

"Art from My Heart" consists of mixed media by Stamaty. A cartoonist and charter member of the Guild, she is also a painter and Hebrew calligrapher. Stamaty’s work has appeared in Ladies’ Home Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, and various other publications.

Also at the gallery June 29-July 24 will be "Reflections" by Nancy Gawron. Part of the display will be devoted to photos of portrait work Gawron has been doing without charge for those who lost loved ones Sept. 11. Works by Gawron’s students will also be displayed in the gallery. An opening reception will be June 30 from 3-5 p.m.
