Watercraft/Safe boating course June 25-26

Coast Boating School, Toms River, will conduct a personal watercraft/safe boating course June 25 and 26 from 7-10 p.m. The course, which meets requirements of New Jersey state law, will be held at Little Silver Fire Company No. 1, Prospect Avenue. Riverview’s 40th annual golf outing June 26

The Riverview Medical Center Foundation will sponsor its 40th annual golf invitational to benefit Riverview Medical Center June 26 at Rumson Country Club, Rumson Road. Breakfast will begin at 7 a.m., and shotgun starts are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The cost is $400 per person and includes breakfast, greens fee, cart, lunch, and cocktail reception. A 50/50 raffle will also be held, with tickets $20 each. Awards will be presented to Dr. James Parker Jr. and Dr. John Movelle for outstanding devotion to the community.

Winners of ‘Destination: Parks’ announced

The Monmouth County Park System has announced the winners of its "Destination: Parks" art contest. Placing third in the kindergarten category was Elizabeth Doherty, Point Road School, Little Silver, while Andrew Lloyd, also Point Road, took honorable mention.

Third-place winner for first- and second-graders was Point Road student Rebecca Barresi. Luke Roskowinski, also Point Road, took first in the third- and fourth-grade category.
