Lions’ Christmas tree sale now under way
The Eatontown Lions are holding a Christmas tree sale, with proceeds benefiting the local charities the Lions support. The tree lot is at the southeast corner of Monmouth Mall adjacent to the Mobil Station on Route 35 south, Eatontown. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6-10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Sites sought for life
jacket loaner program
The BoatU.S. Foundation for Boating Safety & Clean Water is seeking locations to act as lending sites for its free life jacket loaner program, with deadline Feb. 20. The program lends children’s life jackets — from sites such as marinas, boat clubs and other waterfront businesses — to boaters with a temporary need for a life jacket for the day or weekend. There is no cost to become a loaner site.

Central Jersey Transplant group to meet Dec. 9
The Central Jersey Transplant Lifeline Support Group will hold its next meeting on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Little Silver Firehouse, 543 Prospect Ave. The group is a non-profit support group for individuals that have had a transplant or are awaiting a transplant.
