Annual lantern tour in Shrewsbury Dec. 5, 6

The 14th annual "Lantern Tour at the Historic Four Corners" will take place Dec. 5 and 6 at 8 p.m., beginning at the parish house at Christ Church, Episcopal, 380 Sycamore Ave., Shrewsbury. Tickets are $10 and $5 for children. Reservations are recommended.

Attendees will be guided by individuals in colonial costume and visit Christ Church, the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury, the Quakers Shrewsbury Friends Meeting and the Allen House, all located at Broad Street and Sycamore Avenue. Visitors will see a rare vinegar Bible at Christ Church and a dramatization of a revolutionary event at the Presbyterian Church. The Quakers will present the history of the Shrewsbury meeting.
