Stunned over Tradewinds construction

I am disturbed over the fact the Tradewinds Beach Club resort in Sea Bright is to be demolished for the construction of 20 multi-million-dollar homes. How did this happen?

We taxpayers are responsible for the beach being refurbished, but it will not be available because even though the builders have gotten around this by including a public access path to the beach, parking would not be available.

I can’t believe the state and county governments would allow this to be.

Aside from that, why would anyone want to spend millions of dollars on a home on a 75-by-100-foot lot which will – because of its proximity to the ocean – be in jeopardy from nor’easters and hurricanes. For less money, they could have a mansion in Rumson, on a decent piece of property and not be in a flood zone.
