Area couple to hold book signing May 22

Little Silver residents Kim Levin and John O’Neill will sign copies of the duo’s latest book, "Growing Up: The Dog Years" May 22 from 1-2 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Bookstore, 2134 Route 35 south, Holmdel.

The book is the third collaboration for the husband and wife team, which contains O’Neill’s commentary and Levin’s black-and-white photos. The book explores the relationship between canines and humans.

‘Step Up for The Arc Walk’ May 22

The Arc of Monmouth, Tinton Falls, will host its sixth annual "Step Up for The Arc Walk" May 22 at 9 a.m. at Bucks Mill Park, Colts Neck. Registration will be followed by a free continental breakfast, and the walk at 10 a.m.

The walk ranges from a half-mile to five miles. Walkers raising at least $50 in pledges will receive a T-shirt, and individuals raising $150 or more will receive prizes. Individuals making a $50 donation in an individual’s name will receive a blue ribbon to be displayed along the walk route.
