Center announces blood drive schedule for June
Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, will conduct the following local blood drives:

• June 1 from 2:45-8 p.m., a Shrewsbury Borough community drive at Shrewsbury Borough School, 20 Obre Place

• June 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 150 River Road, Red Bank

• June 8 from 7-9 p.m. at Temple Beth Torah, Deal and Logan Roads, Ocean

• June 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CSC, 10 Christopher Way, Eatontown

• June 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. James Episcopal Church, 300 Broadway, Long Branch

• June 14 from 6-9 p.m. at the Eatontown Elks Lodge, 216 Broad St., Eatontown

• June 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Sea Bright Borough community drive at Sea Bright Firehouse, Ocean Avenue, and

• June 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m., a Teamsters Local No. 177 drive at the UPS facility, Hope Road, Tinton Falls

The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening).

Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present identification with signature at time of registration.
