Mrs. Van Zandt, 86, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Middletown, died May 16, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was the mother of E Street Band guitarist, radio host and “Sopranos” actor Steven Van Zandt; playwright and actor/producer Billy Van Zandt; and writer Kathi Van Zandt.

Mrs. Gallagher, 77, of Red Bank, died May 10, 2012, at home. Her husband, Thomas, predeceased her. Surviving are her children, Mary Ellen Morelli and her husband, Paul, Anne Fulton and her husband, Raymond, Thomas Gallagher and his wife, Rachel, and Terence Gallagher and his wife, Patricia; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mary Finn; and many nieces and nephews.
