      The 11th Annual Jersey Shore Summer Duals Team/Individual Wrestling Tournament is slated for July 17-20 from 6 to 10 p.m. each day at Matawan Regional High School.       Dwight Stones, a two-time Olympic bronze medalist and former world record holder in the high jump, will be among the world-class instructors participating in the On the Road Track and Field World Tour that will be making a stop at Lenape High School, Medford, July 8 and 9. This unique track and field camp is staffed exclusively by Olympians who will share their secrets to success with the campers. Joining Stones, the top-ranked high jumper in U.S. history, are the likes of Andre Phillips, Olympic champion in the 400-intermediate hurdles; Mike Tully, Olympic silver medalist and former world record holder in the pole vault; and Tom Petranoff, former record holder in the javelin and a two-time silver medalist at the World Championships.

      The Marlboro Little League will be holding a tournament for 8-, 9-, 10- and 11-year-olds on Aug. 5. Entry fee is $250 per team. Contact Gary Gleitman at 536-4578 for more information.

      The Freehold Area Running Club’s 18th Annual Bud Light 2000 Summer Race Series will begin on June 21 at the Battlefield State Park in Manalapan. The series will run Wednesday evenings through Aug. 2. The 5K race through the park will start at 6:50 p.m. There will be a one-mile Fun Run at 6:30 p.m. and Kids Races at 6:10.       Registration for the "Blazermania 2000 3-on-3 Shootout" will be held at the Matawan Community Center (located on the corner of Broad and Church streets in Matawan) Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The registration fee is $100 per team (maximum four players per team). Copies of birth certificate will be required for each player. The tournament will be played on July 8 and 9 in Cliffwood Beach Park and Midland Park, Matawan.

      The Holmdel Stallions U-15 (fall) boys soccer team is actively seeking skilled and dedicated players capable of playing at the Premier level for the fall/spring 2000/2001 seasons. For players with the desire and the appropriate skill level, a workout will be arranged with team members and field coach George Vichniakov, current Olympic Development Program U-17 boys coach and a former Russian National Team player.
