      Chamber names officers and board members

      The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce recently held a meeting to elect officers and board members for 2001.

      Steven Sanfilippo of Sanfilippo Family Chiropractic, Red Bank, was elected president. An active chamber member, he is also an officer of the Red Bank Rotary.

      Lynn Conover of Wiss & Co. was named first vice president, responsible for development of chamber programs and events.

      Second vice president is Paul J. Shaffery of the Bayshore Development Office. He has collaborated with the chamber on projects to promote the Northern Monmouth and Bayshore regions.

      Maria Relvas of Commerce Bank, Aberdeen, was named third vice president and will be in charge of membership and membership development. Gregg Bernicker of Gregg Bernicker & Associates CPA returns as treasurer.

      New board members are Leo Ardine, chief executive officer of United Teletech Federal Credit Union, Tinton Falls; Brian Compton of J. Crawford Compton Realtors, Belford; Teresa Rampulla of Sylvan Learning Center, Middletown; Kim Somerville of Summit Bank, Middletown; and Crissy Tomaine of Shrewsbury State Bank, Middletown. Doris Lazur, Tom Ford and Paul Hencoski were re-elected.

      The meeting also introduced chamber members to the new Web site, www.BayshoreNJ.com, developed by the Bayshore Development Office to promote business and e-commerce in the Bayshore area.
