Registration is now under way for the Jersey Shore Running Club’s eighth annual "Trick or Trot" race, to be held Oct. 28 at Seven Presidents Park, Long Branch.

The event features a four-mile race, a four-mile race walk, a four-mile walk and a kids’ race. The four-mile course will be along the boardwalk, with registration at 8:30 a.m. Kids’ race begins at 9:30 a.m., and the four-mile race begins at 10 a.m.

Cost is $15 before Oct. 23, and $18 after; the kids’ race cost is $10 before Oct. 23, and $12 after. Entry fee includes a long-sleeve T-shirt, "trick or treat" stops, refreshments, entertainment, and a post-race party at the Celtic Cottage Pub, 608 Second Ave., West End section of Long Branch.
