Navesink Garden Club to meet Jan. 8

The Navesink Garden Club will feature two speakers at its Jan. 8 meeting. Suzette O’Brien will speak on "Pot-et-Fleurs" while Leslie Dempsey’s topic will be "Home Care," a humorous and knowledgeable talk about house plants.

O’Brien is an executive chef with Gourmet Picnic in Lincroft, a full-service catering operation that uses only fresh and natural ingredients. She has recently opened a second Gourmet Picnic at the Galleria on Bridge Avenue in Red Bank where her bakery products, soups, etc., will be available. At present O’Brien is chairman of the design committee of the Navesink Garden Club.

The program will commence at 12:45 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church hall, White Street, Red Bank. There is no charge to attend.
