‘Oceans of Rhythm Festival 2003’ May 18

The Long Branch Department of Recreation will present "Oceans of Rhythm Festival 2003" May 18 from 3-6 p.m. at the Long Branch Senior Center, 85 Second Ave. The suggested donation is $5; children will be admitted free.

The festival will feature Swanita and The Third Eye, Satte + 2 00 + 3, African dancers and drummers, and an ocean procession led by an African stilt walker. Local participants include Lorraine Stone, Eatontown; Pierre Brice, Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen; Daquon Riley, Long Branch; and Fashina Alade, Makinini Brice, Melissa Prosper and Jia McCrae, all of Matawan.
