AUBREY TRAFORD CAMERON SR., 81, of Matawan died May 21 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was born in Fair Haven. Mr. Cameron was a retired welder and owned A.T. Cameron Inc., Middletown. Prior to that, he was the lead welder fabricator at Lockheed Electronics, Plainfield, for 32 years, retiring in 1984. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a Sea Bee from 1942-45. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann McKinney Cameron of Middletown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Aubrey "Chuck" and Marcia Cameron Jr. of Middletown, and Mark and Joan Cameron of Matawan; two brothers, Robert Cameron and Norman Cameron; two sisters, Marian Mandia and Margaret Post; and three grandchildren. JOHANN HOLZER, 74, of the Elberon section of Long Branch died May 18 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Moedling, Austria, he immigrated to the United States in 1953 and resided in Red Bank prior to moving to Long Branch 50 years ago. He worked at the Senior Executive Service as Deputy Director for Architecture of the Joint Tactical Command Control and Communications Agency, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for 35 years, retiring in 1988. During his employment, he received the Secretary of the Army Outstanding Achievement Award and the Defense Communication Agency Exceptional Civilian Service Award. He had eight patents earned in communications fields, including one of the first in digital communications, and made several major contributions to the Army’s communications program. He was a parishioner at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. He was past president of its St. Vincent de Paul Society, and also taught adult Bible classes at the church. He is survived by his wife, Maria Kogelbauer Holzer of Elberon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas T. and Marita Holzer of Toms River, and Christian and Michele Holzer of Spring Lake Heights; two daughters and one son-in-law, Brigitte and David Perlstein of Washington Crossing, Pa., and Ingrid Holzer of Woodbridge; two sisters, Margarete Cajar of Germany, and Martha Satke of Austria; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. MARGARET EGAN McCUE, 89, of Hazlet died May 24 at Regency Park Nursing Home, Hazlet. Born in Rumson, she was a lifelong resident prior to moving to Hazlet eight years ago. Mrs. McCue was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred McCue, in 1982. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Nora and Artie Connaughton of Matawan, and Mary McCue of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Richard McCue of Atlantic Highlands and Thomas McCue of West Long Branch; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
