Several local performing arts groups will present "Holiday Fantasia," a program of song, dance and fun Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. at the Paramount Theater at Convention Hall on the boardwalk in Asbury Park.
The program will showcase the talents of members of Pacific Encore Performances, a multicultural company of professional singers, Kathryn Barnett Traveling Dance Troupe and the Monmouth University Chorus and Orchestra.

Actors are being sought for the Unlimited Potential Theater Company production of "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder.
Auditions will be held by appointment only Jan. 20 and 22, 7-9 p.m., at North Brunswick High School. UPTCo. is seeking a cast of adults with diverse backgrounds, with or without disabilities. Actors should prepare a one-minute monologue from the character of the stage manager of the play and be prepared to give a clear, detailed pantomime activity.
The production will be directed by Jean Prall Rosolino and will take place March 5-7 at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater in Edison. Rehearsals will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning Jan. 27 at the high school.

The Red Bank Public Library will host a poetry reading of selected works by Thomas Murray Dec. 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Murray will read from his latest anthology, "The Spirit of ‘69."
A retired social studies teacher and Red Bank resident, Murray dedicated the anthology to the memory of a former student at Mater Dei High School in Middletown. The library is located at 84 W. Front St.

In a continuing series of free film screenings, the Eastern Branch of the Monmouth County Library, 1001 Route 35, Shrewsbury, will present "Man on the Train," a film in French with English subtitles, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., and "Love in the Afternoon," starring Gary Cooper and Audrey Hepburn, Dec. 18, 7 p.m.

"Folk Music and Dance of Bengal," a lecture/performance presented by Dhriti Bagchi and Mrittika South Asian Center, will be held at the library’s Eastern Branch Dec. 11 at 10 a.m.
