Parent expresses dismay with reversal of policy
     The Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission recently reversed its policy of maintaining a "nondiscriminatory open enrollment policy." Children who have attended the program of after-school care are being asked to leave based on medical diagnoses, disabilities or allergic reactions.

Teacher offers his views on new HVAC system
     The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional Board of Education has approved a special bond referendum which will be held on Dec. 9. The purpose of the referendum is to gain taxpayer approval to raise funds for a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system for the high school.
