The Monmouth Power Sports Club is looking for dedicated and team-oriented players for its 16- and 17-year-old AAU boys basketball teams for the upcoming season (February-November).

The New Jersey Cheerleading Invitational Competition is seeking squads to compete in the 12th annual statewide event presented by the Girl Scouts of Ocean County on March 6 at Manchester High School. Middle school/junior high squads are scheduled to begin competition at approximately 9:30 a.m., with trophies given out at about noon. High school level divisions, including co-ed high schools, will take the floor for the afternoon, beginning at about 2 p.m. Information and registration information is available to squads now by calling (732) 349-4499. Divisions include middle school/junior high; junior high no stunting; junior varsity; varsity and co-ed. The competition is open to school and recreational cheerleading squads. Categories include cheer only, cheer/dance and dance. Spectator admission is $5 for adults, $2 for students and children. Proceeds benefit the program and activities for more than 5,800 Girl Scout of Ocean County.
TNT Fastpitch Softball 14U program, located in central New Jersey, is looking for three passionate and devoted players to play in tournaments across the country in 2004. The Central Jersey Baseball League is looking for teams for the spring season. The Central Jersey Baseball League has been thriving for the past 11 years, and will have divisions for 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U 14U 14/15U. Schedules are flexible and games are played on Saturdays until May and then two games a week after that. Best of all, the league will work around most local youth leagues and school games. Some great high school and college players have passed through this league. Best of all, the coaches have a say in how the league is run. The Battle of Monmouth Lady Stallions, a U17 girls’ fall soccer team, is looking for one or two dedicated select players for the future. The Lady Stallions are 15 girls from 11 different high schools who are serious about soccer and were finalists this year in state cup and the National 3 vs. 3 championship in Orlando, Fla., in January. They are looking to play in college showcases and elite tournaments with top competition.

A new AAU girls elite basketball team is being formed by a veteran head coach of recent top NJHS players, now playing in college.
