Red Bank Pop Warner registration is set for March 13 at Red Bank Regional High School from 9 a.m. until noon. Red Bank Pop Warner is a nonprofit organization that invites children living in Red Bank, Shrewsbury and Little Silver to participate in cheerleading and football, provided they are between the ages of 5-14 as of Aug. 1, 2004; maintain a 70 percent scholastic average; and meet the weight/age requirements (for football) set forth by National Pop Warner Little Scholars organization.

The registration fee for the 2004 season for each non-Red Bank resident is $75 for the first child and $50 for second and subsequent children in the same family. A $50 equipment fee is required for all participants. Flag football and Red Bank residents only pay the equipment fee. Red Bank Pop Warner is also committed to providing equal opportunities for all eligible athletes, regardless of their financial situations. Last season approximately 180 children participated in the program, with close to 60 percent requiring financial aid.

The organization is raising money to sponsor kids for its program and is asking you to help by making a contribution.
