The Monmouth County Park System will offer mosaic workshops Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. June 2-23, Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon June 3-24. Cost is $72, which also covers grouting of all reason­ably sized items.

"Chinese Knotting" will be offered Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon or 7-9 p.m. June 2-23, and an advanced course Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. June 1-22. Cost is $58 per person. All the above are at Thompson Park Craft Center, 805 New­man Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.

"Photography for Beginners" will be offered Thursdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. June 3-17. Cost is $36 and attendees must bring a 35 mm camera and manual (no point-and-shoot cameras). The class is not a darkroom class. "Theatre for Tots" for 4-year-olds will be offered Saturdays from 9-9:45 a.m. June 5-26. Cost is $30 for the four sessions, which will teach cre­ative movement, improvisation and mu­sic. Both the above will be at Tatum Park Red Hill Activity Center, Red Hill Road, Middletown.

An open house will be June 5 fro 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Deep Cut Gardens, Red Hill Road, Middletown. The free event will feature tours of the gardens, horticultural exhibits, miniworkshops and demonstrations.
