Voters can hear views of candidates at forum

The League of Women Voters of Monmouth County will hold an open forum for all the Monmouth County candidates for the offices of freeholder and sheriff Oct. 26, from 7:30-9:30 p.m., at Brookdale Community College, MAN Building, room 105, Lincroft.

This forum offers an opportunity to learn about the candidates for Monmouth County freeholder and sheriff and, at the same time, to learn more about the power and the duties of the those offices.

All the candidates will have an opportunity to present their views, and a question-and-answer period will follow. Doris Weisberg, League of Women Voters in Mercer County will be the moderator. The public is urged to attend in order to be able to make informed decisions in the upcoming election in Monmouth County.
