Brookdale Community College Office of Business and Community Development, Lincroft section of Middletown, announced that the following local residents recently completed the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Certificate program:

Heidi Manning, Fair Haven; Florendo Buerano, Susan Fitzgerald and Saraswathi Pandiri, Ocean; Lorraine Dickerson and Karen Frey, Red Bank; and Richard Buzeta, Tinton Falls.

Gabriel Sanchez, a student at Tinton Falls Middle School, recently took second place for grades two through three in the Freehold Soil Conservation District “Celebrate Conservation” bumper sticker contest. Second-place winners receive $75 bonds from the Soil Conservation District.

Sara Alicia Moser-Cohen, Red Bank, was recently named to the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society at Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa. A 2002 graduate of Marine Academy of Science and Technology, Sandy Hook, she is majoring in both government and sociology. She is the daughter of Geri Moser-Cohen and Philip Cohen.
