Boys and girls ages 10-18 are invited to the Central Jersey Chapter of Pheasants Forever Youth Day, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Preregistration is required before Sept. 20.
Held at the Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club in Jackson, the event will feature trap shooting, gun safety and bird dog demonstrations, complimentary lunch and refreshments. All participants will be entered into a drawing for one of two guided upland bird hunts at a semi-wild preserve (each hunt includes a child and his or her guardian).

MOMS Club meeting
in Red Bank Sept. 19
The MOMS Club of Middletown and Red Bank will hold a business meeting Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 84 Maple Ave., Red Bank.
The club will welcome child psychiatrist Dr. Graydon Goss. A specialist in behavior disorders and parent counseling, he will give a talk on discipline and provide general information about what children are thinking and going through. For more information, call (732) 576-1711.
Registration under way for ‘Little Silver 5K’
Registration is now underway for the 12th annual “Little Silver 5K” Sept. 25 at Red Bank Regional High School, Ridge Road, Little Silver. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m., and will also feature a kid’s run and health walk.

BCUG ‘Paint Shop’ presentation Sept. 16
The Brookdale Computer Users Group Inc. (BCUG) will host a presentation on Corel’s “Paint Shop Pro” and “Paint Shop Photo Album” Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. at room NAS 100, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown. Corel representatives will give live demonstrations. The presentation is free and open to the public.
