For the Record The Wardell House is owned by the borough of Shrewsbury and has been leased by Monmouth County for $1 a year for use as an annex to the Monmouth County Library’s Eastern Branch located across Route 35. The county is to be totally responsible for its maintenance. The former Shrewsbury Borough Hall was not purchased as was reported in the Feb. 10 article on the Eastern Branch Library expansion.
