Volunteers sought for restoration project
     Poricy Park, Oak Hill Road, Middletown, is seeking volunteers to plant 13 acres of former pasture with warm-season grasses and wildflowers to create habitat for threatened grassland bird species. The date for the first stage of the project is March 20.

Alliance to accept entries for art show March 5
     The Art Alliance of Monmouth County Gallery, 33 Monmouth St., Red Bank, will receive work for its March exhibition March 2 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. An opening reception free to the public will be March 5 from 6-8 p.m. The show will run through March 30.

YMCA at halfway point in ‘Reach Out’ campaign
     The Community YMCA, Red Bank, has announced its volunteers are at the halfway point in its “Reach Out To Youth Campaign.” To date, volunteers have raised approximately $270,000 of the $500,000 goal.
