Obituaries Donald H. “Donnie” Pujals Mr. Pujals, 62, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 24 at Kensington Court Assisted Living, Tinton Falls. He resided in Hoboken and Red Bank most of his life. He was a stock specialist on the New York Stock Exchange for 40 years, retiring in 2001. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nanette M. Embres and William Kuzmin of Atlantic Highlands, and Michelle C. Pujals and James Bonner of Hoboken; a brother, Jonathan H. Pujals of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister; Melissa Kelley of Sarasota, Fla.; and one granddaughter. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 710 W. 168th St. New York NY 10032.
Violet May Long Mrs. Long, 90, of Red Bank, died Feb. 16 in Red Bank. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank. She was employed by Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, for 13 years before retiring. Mrs. Long was predeceased by her husband, Lester Samuel Long, in 1967. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Gail Long of Red Bank; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
Christian Isaksen Mr. Isaksen, 57, of the Belford section of Middletown, died Jan. 30 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen prior to moving to Belford 31 years ago. He was a truck driver at South Jersey Paving, Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen, where he has been employed 15 years. He also belonged to Local No. 469, Hazlet. He was predeceased by his father, William Isaksen. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen Rummell Isaksen; a son, Christian W. Isaksen of Keansburg; a daughter, Lori Michalski of Tinton Falls; his mother, Marie Isaksen of Aberdeen; three brothers, William Isaksen of Florida, Robert Isaksen of Aberdeen, and Eric Isaksen of Bayville; two sisters, Karen Tappin of Paterson, and Darlene Locoriere of Aberdeen; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
William F. Jimolka Mr. Jimolka, 82, of Red Bank, died Feb. 18 at Avante at Red Bank. Born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., he was a longtime resident of Red Bank. Ms. Jimolka was predeceased by his wife, Helena Fredrick Jimolka, in 1989. Interment took place at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
