The Fair Haven PTA is scheduled to host “Fair Haven’s First Floors” — what used to be “cook’s tour” or “kitchen tour” — on May 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

This year the event is entitled “Fair Haven’s First Floors — A Taste of Old and New” and will consist of tours of 10 of Fair Haven’s homes. Chefs, tastings and decorators will be features this year along with three raffles and a buffet lunch at The Raven & The Peach.

The Fair Haven Scouts Fight Cancer second annual Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for April 3 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the borough fire house.

The cost will be $6 per adult and $4 per children and the event is being sponsored by Cub Scout Pack 127 and the Fair Haven Webelos.

The Oceanport Hook and Ladder Fire Company is scheduled to host its annual ham dinner on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Hook and Ladder Fire House at 21 Main St.

The cost will be $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children under 10 years old.

The borough of Oceanport adopted a resolution at the March 10 special council meeting appointing Anita Sawyer as the administrative assistant in the borough clerk’s office, effective March 21 and Margaret O’Donnell to the clerk in the tax office, effective March 28.

The Red Bank Woman’s Club is holding a fund-raiser to raise funds for our annual scholarship given to local female high school students who are on their way to college.

This year, the club is hosting a Female N.J. Artists Show and Sale, March 18 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The Greater Red Bank Kiwanis meets on Tuesdays for breakfast at The Chelsea at 1 Hartford Drive in Tinton Falls.

Meetings start promptly at 8 a.m. and end at 9 a.m. and guest speakers start at 8:30 a.m.

YoungLife of Monmouth County is holding its annual Rummage Sale fund-raiser April 2, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, at the Rumson Fire House on the corner of Blackpoint Road and East River Road in Rumson.

A small donation of $5 is requested.

Due to popular demand, Keansburg Amusement Park will be hosting another free Golden Egg Hunt on March 20 at 1 p.m. The event will be held on the beach behind the amusement park.

Children can hunt through prize-filled eggs hoping to find the Golden Eggs to win brand-new bikes.

Christ Church United Methodist, located at 300 Ridge Road in Fair Haven, will hold a unique Easter Eve worship service featuring a rhythm trio of a professional bassist, drummer and pianist.

Modeling itself on the ancient tradition of the Easter Eve Vigil, the experience moves dramatically from the darkness and grief of Good Friday to the light and joy of Easter Sunday.

Red Bank Middle School eighth-graders, Tony Smith, Jamar Jones and Akeen Crawford, participated on March 11 in a three on three Basketball Benefit at the Rumson County Day School, to benefit the Horizons Student Enrichment Program.

Playing in the Middle School division, they won all three qualifying games, the semifinals and the finals to win first place.
