Sickles Market will host its sixth annual Blues Festival, a free, fun-filled family celebration of all things blue on Saturday, July 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sickles Market, 1 Harrison Ave.

On Saturday, Aug. 20, the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society will host its 33rd annual Arts and Crafts Festival. Rain date will be Aug. 21.

The event will fun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Veterans’ Park opposite borough hall on First Avenue. About 100 artists and crafters are expected to showcase their original work and offer it for sale.

Ginger Morogiello, a longtime supporter of The Arc of Monmouth, is hosting an art show titled “Art at Arc.” Morogiello will sell her original works and donate 30 percent of the proceeds to The Arc. Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross will host its first annual Red Cross Summer Bash from 1-7 p.m. on Aug. 27 at Bar A in Lake Como.

Party-goers will enjoy food, drinks, music and performances by bands such as The Benjamins, Urban Trip, Shortly After, Brian Kirk and the Jirks & more. Anyone over 21 is welcome; there is a $10 cover. All proceeds will benefit the Jersey Coast Chapter.

Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, a campus for middle income people over age 62, recently held its seventh annual Gold Golf Classic and raised more than $10,000 for the Seabrook Benevolent Care Fund, which provides confidential financial support for residents who may have exhausted all of their resources on health care.

The annual “Festival of Horses” will take place on Aug. 7 at the Horse Park of New Jersey from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A petting farm, face painting, pony rides, mare and foal shows, and refreshments will be featured. Information on the Adopt-A-Horse programs will be available and a mounted drill team competition will be held. The Horse Park is located on Route 524 at Exit 11 off Route 195 in Upper Freehold Township minutes from Great Adventure amusement park. Admission and parking are free.
