The Guild of St. Dorothea’s Church in Eatontown is sponsoring a Luncheon and Gift Auction at the Old Orchard, Eatontown, on Sunday, July 31, from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and can be reserved by calling (732) 542-5559.

The Monmouth Beach Emergency Medical Services Olde Fashion Homemade Ice Cream Sundae Social will be held on Aug. 13 between 4-9 p.m. at the EMS Building on Beach Road.

The annual Monmouth Beach Fair runs Aug. 17-20, 7-11 p.m., at the firehouse. There will be rides, games, live music, food and drink. Firemen’s Night will be held on Aug. 19 and Kids’ Night, which includes one price for a night’s rides, will be Aug. 18. The fire company will also conduct its annual fund drive.

The Rev. Dr. Dwight C. Northington, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Red Bank, and the Rev. Terrance Porter, pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank, will collaborate to present an “Evangelistic Crusade.”

The event will take place at Calvary Baptist Church from July 27 - 29 at 7 p.m. nightly. For more information, call (732) 741-7081.

Each night the tent will boom with the sounds of gospel music.

As the month turns from July to August, caterpillars are turning into butterflies at Sickles Market, 1 Harrison Ave., Little Silver.

From now until Aug. 6, Sickles will be hosting a butterfly hatching that will conclude with a release of the newly hatched butterflies on Aug. 6 at 4 p.m. To celebrate the release there will also be themed arts and crafts for the kids.

Andrew Bloom, the incoming rabbi for Congregation B’nai Israel, Rumson, is extending an invitation for a preschool through second grade meet-and-greet on Aug. 7 at 9:30 a.m.
