'Something Fishy' at the county Art Alliance
"Mower" "Something Fishy" and "Multiples" are the themes for the June exhibit at the Art Alliance of Monmouth County gallery in Red Bank.
The juried show was judged by Thomas Minor, whose work is featured in the window gallery. His paintings provide an intimate peek into the everyday world and are characterized by strong black-and-white contrasts.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, 6-8 p.m.
The exhibit will run through June 28 at the gallery, located at 33 Monmouth St. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
The Art Alliance is an all-volunteer co-op gallery dedicated to providing exhibition and studio space for area artists. Membership is open to all, artist and nonartists, amateur and professional. All media are represented. Member dues begin at $30 a year. For information, call (732) 842-9403.
