Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives:

+ June 3 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 150 River Road, Red Bank

+ June 5 from 7-9 p.m. at Temple Beth Torah, Deal and Logan Road, Ocean

+ June 9 from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch

+ June 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Sea Bright Firehouse, Ocean Avenue (Sea Bright Boro Community drive).

The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present signature ID at time of registration.
