SICA hosts works by fine arts grads

The annual "Fresh Meat/Young Blood: New Jersey's Masters" exhibit is on display at the Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts in Long Branch.
Participating in this year's exhibition are master of fine arts graduates from Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University): Hannah Barnes, John C. Bent, Danielle Bursk, Neil Calender, Andrea Ellison, Crystal Hernandez, Craig Olsen, Jamie Powell, Kristine Taylor, Jeff Thompson, and from Montclair State University, Maya Gatewood, Adam Hayes, Jungin Kim, Thomas Martin, Alexandra Pacula and Sun Young Park.
In conjunction with the exhibit, the "Speaking of Art" contemporary speaker series this Friday will be a panel discussion on the exhibit.
Recent MFA grads with works in the exhibit will discuss their experiences and expectations. The panel starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Sica is located at 20 Third Ave., where gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, 1-5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
