SCORE Chapter 36 of Monmouth County was recently recognized by the Western Monmouth County Chamber of Commerce at its 2006 Circle of Excellence Awards. The chapter was chosen for the diversity of its volunteering activities. The chapter offers counseling sessions locally at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown; Brookdale Learning Center, Long Branch; Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Red Bank; Northern Monmouth Chamber, Middletown; Monmouth County Library Eastern Branch, Shrewsbury; and Middletown Township Public Library.

Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, has announced Patricia Crocker, RN, Rumson, and Susan Tanski, LPN, Hazlet, have been named as recipients of the 2006 Excellence in Nursing Awards. The award is bestowed on individuals that exemplify the nursing profession.

Crocker has been at Riverview employed in its emergency care center more than 26 years, and achieved the status of certified emergency nurse.

Tanski has been at Riverview 27 years in its specialty area of maternal and newborn nursing, where she has served as the unit's safety officer for more than 10 years.
