Notes

A children’s pageant, “The Littlest Star,” and a festive celebration will be part of Christ Church Episcopal’s Epiphany Sunday, Jan. 7, beginning with the 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist. All are welcome to attend the festivities at the church, located in Shrewsbury.

After the service, the Rev. Lisa S. Mitchell will dedicate the renovated rooms in the parish house at the corner of Broad Street and Sycamore Avenue. The traditional Epiphany Party will follow.

The church school rooms have been painted in cheerful, bright colors and feature new ceilings, windows and floors. This year, there is also a new curriculum, “Living the Good News.” Elaine Feyereisen, Little Silver, is in charge of the Sunday School, and Amy Kragh, Eatontown, school coordinator. Feyereisen and Kragh are assisted by a Christian education committee and teachers from the parish.

All children are welcome to attend Sunday School, which is held every Sunday beginning at 9:50 a.m. For more information, call the parish office at (732) 741-2220.

Reports are that the audience had a blast singing along.
