On Campus Sean Munson, Little Silver, received a bachelor's degree at the spring commencement exercises for the first graduating class at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Needham, Mass.
The University of Scranton, Scranton, Pa., has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area: Lauren C. Davies, Tinton Falls, a bachelor of science degree in health sciences; Rickie Lee DeMaio, Red Bank, a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, in elementary education; Noelle N. Scarpulla, Little Silver, a bachelor of arts degree in communication; and Marissa A. Weiss, Tinton Falls, a bachelor of arts degree in communication.
Penn State University, State College, Pa., has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area: Ryan J. Croft, Red Bank, a master of arts degree in English; Drew W. Fitzsimmons, Red Bank, a bachelor of arts degree in telecommunications; Thomas B. Hayes, Tinton Falls, a bachelor of arts degree in psychology; and Peter A. Bennett, Little Silver, a bachelor of arts degree in English.
Penn State University, State College, Pa., named the following local students to the dean's list for the spring semester: Leslie J. Potter, Red Bank; Lauren K. Ventola, Red Bank; Ryan P. Debrigard, Fair Haven, Altoona campus; Kevin R. Johnson, Fair Haven; Meredith A. Schanck, Tinton Falls; and Lindsay I. Shields, Tinton Falls.

Heather Marie Emley, Oceanport, received a bachelor of fine arts degree at the spring commencement exercises at Adelphi University, Garden City, Long Island, N.Y. A 2002 graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch, she will pursue a bachelor of arts degree in physical therapy at Adelphi next fall. She is the daughter of Yvonne and Gavin Emley.
