Tonight's Jazz in the Park concert in Red Bank will present The Tonemasters, blues masters who know how to do it all - Jump, Shuffle, Chicago, Texas. The session begins at 7 p.m. at Riverside Gardens Park on West Front Street in Red Bank.

The final performance of the new Summer Jazz Cafe at the Two River Theater, 21 Bridge Ave., in Red Bank, will take place Friday and Saturday, Aug. 11-12, with a performance by the Claudio Roditi Quartet. Trumpeter Roditi has performed and recorded with jazz greats and toured as a member of Dizzy Gillespie's United Nation Orchestra. The series is presented by the Jazz Arts Project. Jewish jam band SoulFarm will perform in concert on Wednesday, Aug. 23, to benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Monmouth County's Israel Emergency Campaign. The 8 p.m. performance will take place at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center at the Jewish Community Center, 100 Grant Ave., Deal Park. SoulFarm performs a unique blend of rock influenced by Israeli, Latin, Middle Eastern and Celtic music. A special performance of Israel's national anthem will be performed by Latin American/Middle Eastern vocalist Natalie Michan of Deal. The 85-voice Concordia Youth Chorale will be accepting new members in September. Voice placement auditions will take place on Sept. 5 and 12 at Middletown United Methodist Church, 924 Middletown-Lincroft Road. Grades 2-6 will audition at 6 p.m., and grades 7-12 at 7 p.m. The chorale will sing at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City in November, and in Europe next summer. The Unlimited Potential Theatre Company, a project of VSA arts of New Jersey, is seeking poems, essays, short stories and plays by New Jersey residents 18 years or older for the 13th annual Joyce Indik New Jersey Wordsmith Competition. The contest is open to all writers, and submissions by writers with disabilities are especially encouraged. Works submitted will be juried by a panel of theater and/or literature professionals. Over the Rainbow Productions at Eatontown Playhouse presents "Crossing Delancey," a comedy about matchmaking, Aug. 11-27. Tickets are $22, $17 for seniors and students. "Encore, Celebration of the Arts," a group show of paintings, photography and sculpture will be at the Gallery on Grant at the Ruth Hyman Jewish Community Center in Deal Aug. 14-Sept. 5. An opening reception for the art show will be held Monday, Aug. 14, beginning at 8 p.m. Curtain is 8 p.m. for performances on Aug. 15-16. Bring the kids to Red Bank's Movies in the Park Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Riverside Gardens Park on West Front Street for a free screening of "The Goonies." The movie begins after dark and is a family-friendly Indiana Jones-type tale featuring a group of kids, a secret cave, buried treasure, real estate development, villainous crooks and a pirate named One-Eyed Willie. Concerts presented by the Red Bank Music Community before the movie begin at 6:30 p.m.
