The First United Methodist Church of Sea Bright has kicked off its Fall/Holiday Food Drive to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Food donations are being collected at the church, located at 1102 Ocean Ave. (corner of Church Street) for the entire month of October, and can be dropped off on its porch anytime this month. Seniors of Little Silver will meet Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the clubhouse on Church Street at 1 p.m. Nancy Malone, a floral designer for Sickles Market, will demonstrate how to construct an autumn floral arrangement. Pumpkins, greenery, flowers, etc., will be provided along with instruction on how to create a design. Cost for materials is $6 and must be paid by Oct. 16.
