Obituaries Marie Murphy Nash Mrs. Nash, 80, of Rumson, died Oct. 22, 2006, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. Born in Mountain Lakes, she was raised in New York City, prior to moving to Rumson in 1955. She was a communicant of St. Leo The Great Roman Catholic Church, Lincroft section of Middletown, and former communicant of Holy Cross Church, Rumson. She enjoyed time with her family, and the beach. She was predeceased by a brother, William F. Murphy Jr.; and her husband, John B. Nash in 1975. She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Noel and Donald Camp of Wall, Suzanne Nash of Hoboken, and Katherine Nash of Red Bank; and two stepgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Leo's Church. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. Stella M. Dziedzic Mrs. Dziedzic, 80, of Brick, died Oct. 29, 2006, at Brick Hospital. Born in West Rutland, Vt., she resided in Oceanport, prior to moving to Brick more than 16 years ago. She was a cafeteria worker for Oceanport Board of Education for 15 years. She was a 25-year member and past president of the Oceanport Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by a son, Bernard P. Dziedzic; and a grandson, Christopher E. Dziedzic. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Benjamin B. Dziedzic; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Ron Colangelo of Wall; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Dziedzic; a brother, Alexander W. Potowniak of Rutland, Vt.; three sisters, Agnes Dziubek and Judy Warzecho, both of Bristol, Conn., and Theresa Shelaski of West Rutland, Vt.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown.
Richard "Dick" C. Bertodatti Sr. Mr. Bertodatti, 65, of Colts Neck, died Oct. 26, 2006, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He was a sales representative at Allied Building Supplies, Bound Brook. He also bred thoroughbred horses at his farm, and had successes at Monmouth Park, Oceanport; and Belmont, Aqueduct racetracks. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck. He enjoyed baseball, and was signed by the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club following college graduation. He also appeared on TV at age 10 on Happy Felton's All-Stars where he met Jackie Robinson and Mickey Mantle. He was predeceased by his father, Dominick Bertodatti; and a grandson, Alexander Nathaniel. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maureen E. Shaw Bertodatti; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marissa Bertodatti Jr. of Fair Haven; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Matthew Jensen of Long Branch, Jill and Kevin Condon of Colts Neck, and Jodi and Gregory Foster of Point Pleasant Beach; his mother, Maria Bertodatti of Toms River; and 11 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, followed by interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
