      Little Silver Learning Ability Day

Clockwise from top: Third- and fourth-grade students at Little Silver's Point Road School participated in activities that were designed to raise their awareness of what living with a disability is like during the school's Celebrating Differences in Learning Ability Day Jan. 25. Lynne Lehrkinder helps guide Sarah Haddow, 9, as she pushes John Hoffman, 9, through an obstacle course in a wheelchair. Tommy McGuire, 9, looks into a mirror as he traces the outline of a star to help him understand the challenges faced by people who are visually impaired. McKenzie Quigley, 10, stretches to put a piece of a puzzle in place as Susan Murray holds the puzzle for her.
