The Fair Haven Board of Education and Fair Haven PTA will sponsor a Fair Haven Property Tax and School Funding Forum Tuesday, Feb. 20, 7:30- 9 p.m., at Viola L. Sickles School, 25 Willow St., Fair Haven

Speakers will include: State Sen. Ellen Karcher (D-12), Assemblyman Michael Panter (D-12), Assemblywoman Jennifer Beck (R-12) and Garden State Coalition of Schools Executive Director Lynne Strickland

Also participating will be Fair Haven Mayor Michael Halfacre and Superintendent of Schools Bill Presutti

According to a press release, the forum is being called to address the fact that the New Jersey Assembly and Senate have passed legislation that could dramatically impact property taxes, school funding and school governance throughout the state.
