      The Monmouth County League of Women Voters, composed of three local area leagues, is sponsoring a forum to present a variety of views and positions on the issue of eminent domain. The event will be held Wednesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, Student Life Center, Twin Lights Rooms 1 and 2.

Fourth annual Ryan's Run kicks off June 23
      On Saturday June 23, the Ryan Andrew Kaiser Memorial Foundation- (www.RAKMF.org) along with the Jersey Shore Running Club, will hold its fourth annual 5K run/walk at the Mountain Hill School in Middletown. The event will be a 3.1-mile run/walk meandering through Middletown's scenic horse country, and Huber Woods Park. Kiddy dashes will follow. The event will start at 9 a.m.

      The Monmouth County Department of Economic Development and Tourism has announced its new tourism magazine, "New Jersey's Monmouth County," is now available. The 66-page magazine highlights the county's attractions such as beaches, shopping centers, theaters, museums, historic sites, lighthouses and parks, as well as cultural and recreational activities.
