Volunteer advocates sought for DVRT
      180-Turning Lives Around, Hazlet, is seeking volunteers for its domestic violence crisis response teams (DVRT), with the 40-hour mandatory training beginning June 4. Volunteer advocates work in conjunction with the police to provide support, information, and referrals to victims of domestic violence at police headquarters.

IAMA spaghetti dinner slated for March 30
      The Italian American Memorial Association (IAMA), 195 Brighton Ave., Long Branch, will hold a spaghetti dinner March 30 from 5-7:30 p.m. Cost is $7, $6 for seniors, $3 for children age 4-12, and free for children age 3 and younger. The menu will feature "all you can eat" spaghetti, homemade meatballs, and spaghetti with clam sauce. Call the IAMA at (732) 222-9750.
