Chapter to hold support meetings, conference
      The Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter will hold a support group meeting May 9 at 7 p.m. and May 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Kensington Court, 864 Shrewsbury Ave., Tinton Falls. Meetings will also be May 15 at 7 p.m. at Bayshore Community Hospital, 727 N. Beers St., Holmdel; and May 24 at 7 p.m. at Brighton Gardens, 620 Route 35 south, Middletown.

'Cinco de Mayo Adopt-A-Thon' May 5, 6
      The Monmouth County SPCA Shelter, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, will hold a "Cinco de Mayo Adopt-A-Thon Weekend Celebration" May 5 and May 6 from 1-5 p.m. The free event will feature flamenco guitar music, prizes and activities. Representatives from the House Rabbit Society, Greyhound Rescue and other humane groups will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
