Center raises donor weight requirement
      Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced its minimum weight requirements for any blood donations has been increased to 120 pounds. Donor eligibility rules are intended to protect the health and safety of the donor as well as the patient receiving a transfusion.

Park System's raku classes begin June 13
      The Monmouth County Park System will present "Steve Jaskowak: Raku Seminar" June 13 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Additional sessions will be July 25 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Aug. 18 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The seminar led by Steve Jaskowak is designed for all levels of potters and will teach processes such as horse-hair firing, and slip resists.
