The Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross, Tinton Falls, will host the 10th annual "Rock 'n Ride Bike Tour" on Sept. 9 at Long Beach Island.

Riders can bike a 40-mile trek which begins at 9 a.m. or a 10-mile course at 9:30 a.m. Both stretch the length of the island.

Music will be provided at the registration area and rest stops by 105.7 - The Hawk; 92.7 WOBM, Oldies 100.1 WJRZ-FM; G Rock 106.3 Monmouth - - 106.5 Ocean, and K98.5 Country. Prizes will be awarded for bikers that collect the highest amount of pledges. Refreshments will be provided. Fee is $15, and $5 for children age 12 and younger, and an additional $5 on the day of the event. Riders must provide helmets. Proceeds benefit American Red Cross services in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
