      "Harp" by Medy Quiroz
           A solo exhibit of works by Red Bank artist Medy Quiroz will open this weekend at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave. An opening reception for "Triple Play" will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 6-8 p.m. A lyrical abstract expressionist painter, Quiroz will also be showing fine art photographs and line art.       IN THE ARTS
            Monmouth Players will hold auditions for a December production of "A Night ofClassic Comedy" Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. at the Navesink Library Theater at the corner of Sears and Monmouth avenues in the Navesink section of Middletown. The evening of classic comedy routines and skits from both the past and present will be selected from radio and television.

      'Rhythmical Lines, Works on Paper'
      Exhibit of abstracts by Claire Boren at JCC gallery
            An exhibit of lyrical abstract/figurative paintings opened at the Ruth Hyman Jewish Community Center in Deal Park Friday. "Rhythmical Lines, Works on Paper" showcases the work of Rumson artist Claire Boren, an imaginative and deeply feeling artist who has exhibited her work at galleries in New Jersey and New York.
