Food allergy group to meet Sept. 12

The Food Allergy Support Group of Monmouth County (FASGMC) will hold its first fall meeting Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Allergy & Asthma Associates of Monmouth County, 565 Route 35 north, Red Bank.

The group will plan its Halloween party, and play food allergy jeopardy with Dr. Tina Zecca of the Allergy & Asthma Associates of Monmouth County. Admission is free. For more information, call (732) 741-8222.

FASGMC will walk as a group at the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network's "Walk for Food Allergy: Moving Toward a Cure," Oct. 14 at 12:30 p.m. in Ridgewood. To RSVP, e-mail njfoodallergy@ hotmail.com. A food-free "Magical Halloween Party" will be Oct. 27 from 1-3 p.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 250 Harmony Road, Middletown. Admission is $10 per family for members, and $12 for nonmembers.

The November meeting will be Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Allergy & Asthma Associates with guest speaker and topic to be announced. A holiday dinner will be Dec. 11 at Gaetanos, Red Bank.
