            The Monmouth County Park System has announced the opening of a new exhibit at Longstreet Farm, Longstreet Road, Holmdel Park. The exhibit provides a broader context for what visitors can see at the turn-ofthe century living history farm.

      Atl. Highlands Historical Society show Sept. 15
            The Atlantic Highlands Historical Society will hold its 29th annual outdoor flea market Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Atlantic Highlands Marina, off First Avenue (rain date Sept. 22). The event will feature various antiques, collectibles, crafts, new items, furnishings, household wares, toys, clothing, tools, books, jewelry and other items.

      Fall FISH programs slated to begin Sept. 15
            The New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium (NJMSC), Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook, will begin its fall Families Investigate Science Hands-on (FISH) program Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. with "On Sandy Shores." The programs suitable for children in grades K-12 and families use Sandy Hook beaches and the bay as coastal classrooms and offer a variety of activities.
